Semester 1 consists of 30 hours of English instruction, or 15 two-hour sessions. The focus of this class will be on real-life language use and the acquisition of four skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking. During class time, you should expect to engage in group and pair work, and to actively participate in class.
After successful completion of semester 1 of this course, you will be able to:

Craft a compelling resume and cover letter
Anticipate and respond to commonly-asked interview questions
Develop a product or service that solves a problem
