Here you should sign up for a date to give your oral presentation - show and tell.
The oral presentation will be presented on MICROSOFT TEAMS - in the second class hour. Example: in a class from 9:40 - 11:30, the first student presenting will be at 10:30. the second student presenting will be at 10:45., etc. Be prepared to present on MICROSOFT TEAMS at the date and hour agreed upon. For the sake of our class, 1 class is 2 hours. If there are 4 hours, we consider it 2 classes. Once the days have been chosen they cannot normally be modified. You can switch dates with another student if both are in agreement, and I am informed in advance. Each student should choose a different topic and should be decided in advance. See sheet informing about Show and Tell.
The student will present his or her topic on call on MICROSOFT TEAMS. The time will not be longer than 10-15 minutes maximum. A mark will be assigned taking into account preparation and organization of talk, relevance, fluency, delivery, comprehension, pronunciation, grammar and pertinent vocabulary on subject. Afterwards we will ask conversational questions on the topic. When another student asks a question to the person giving the presentation, both receive extra credit points! So it is in the interest of both students to ask a question.
This activity was originally conceived to be presented in a real classroom environment. If we are lucky enough to continue our classes "live" in a classroom setting at ENSAM (room shown on LISE), students would present their topic in class to their peers, and other students would ask questions to create conversation and would get participation points. The presentation would be given on the same day and time, and of course there would be no appointment taken on MICROSOFT TEAMS.
Note. At the time of drafting the sign-up sheet, the dates for the classes have not been assigned yet by scolarité. Class 1/2 is this week (16 sept..), Class 2 and Class 3 will be next week. You will need to check LISE later on for the exact class days and times. When I have more information about the days and times I will let you know.
After choosing the date, you should go on the FORUM below to indicate the topic you have decided for your presentation. This way it will be clear for each student what objects are taken or available.
