This course enhances students' English proficiency in professional and scientific contexts.
It develops oral and written communication skills, focusing on three major parts:

Professional Project: Deliver professional pitches, oral presentations, CVs, and workplace communication.

Scientific & Professional Topics: Engage with technical content in Manufacturing, and professional issues such as Innovations/Startups, and Workplaces.

Grammar & Language Accuracy: prepositions, active/passive voice, linking words, infinitives/gerunds, and action verbs and verbs like get, do, etc.
Through interactive activities, role-plays, presentations, and real-life scenarios, students will practice clear, fluent, and culturally appropriate speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in professional and scientific contexts.
Semester 1 consists of 20 hours of English instruction, or 10 two-hour sessions.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
